Benefit top-up coverage. This coverage is to be utilized once coverage with Manulife has been fully exhausted under each of the categories below. 

• $15,000 combined maximum for Psychological Services – Psychologist/Social Worker/Clinical Counsellor/Marriage & Family Therapist/Psychoanalyst/Psychotherapist- $15,000 per certificate per calendar year. *No referral required.

• $1,500 combined maximum Paramedical Services - Chiropractor, Osteopath/Homeopath, Podiatrist/Chiropodist, Massage Therapist/Ortho therapist, Naturopath/Dietician, Speech Therapist/Audiologist, Physiotherapist, Acupuncturist- $1,500 combined per certificate per calendar year. *No referral required.

The combined maximum applies to per employee, coverage may be shared with eligible dependents. 

In addition to your benefit top up coverage – you have coverage under a Health Service Spending Account (HSSA) and Wellness account. Each are available to be used at your discretion. Coverage is available annually for each and may be shared with eligible dependents. 

• $2,000 HSSA - eligible expenses through the HSSA are those listed under the CRA allowable expenses.

• $2,000 Wellness - coverage for a variety of items outside what CRA would consider allowable medical expenses. Examples of items covered- but not limited to; medical and health related expenses; fitness/sports/ leisure related services and expenses; life balance services and expenses; professional development costs, home efficiency costs and Traditional services.
